It is time to pass the torch for web reporting to the Ternopil church members, so this website will be undergoing a redesign to allow for more interactive updating. Ternopil church members and others who are actively involved in the Ternopil ministry will be able to log on and post articles, contribute other material and upload pictures.

This will allow Nadya and me to continue contributing as well, but since we are no longer full-time in the Ternopil ministry, it has gotten more difficult to be solely responsible to update the website in a timely manner. There have been times when it has taken months to post material that church members have sent us, and that is not a good system! The redesign of the site will allow updates to be posted when they happen instead of in periodic "blasts" as they have been.

We have been in the U.S. for a little over three years now. This was one of our goals since Nadya would be eligible for U.S. citizenship after that time. We plan to apply for her citizenship in the next couple of months. We had also planned to evaluate the effectiveness of the Ternopil church without the direct involvement of a missionary and to prayerfully consider our continuing role in supporting them. As these reports have indicated, the church continues to grow and to remain active in ministry in their community.

However, the Ternopil church faces some unique and significant challenges in the coming months. As they move toward more autonomy from their American support base, they will need to be creative in finding ways to protect the assets which have been entrusted to them and committed to one another and the unity of Christ as they formulate their decisions. We ask for your continued prayers for the church there as they face these challenges.

A number of American churches and individuals continue to provide financial support and spiritual support through prayer and through periodic visits. The Ternopil church is grateful for this and we trust that they are enthusiastic to keep us all updated on the new and exciting things that God is doing among them.
