Ojas Visiting Ternopil

We'll be returning to Ternopil for a 4-week visit from July 26 - August 22. Our plans are to help with the VBS, which is being organized by Oksana Heohdzhayeva (recently returned from Abilene, TX), and will be held from August 3-8.

If past VBS events are any indication, we can expect between 70-85 children from around the city.

Nadya is helping with the organization of crafts. We'll be transporting 5 cases of materials, most of which will be able to be used by the children after the VBS as well (shirts, belts, etc.). The topic of this year's VBS is "The Armor of God."

Pat will also be conducting evening adult classes ranging from topics on church unity to personal relationship with Jesus. In addition, Nadya and Pat will be sharing during the youth meetings about preparation for a godly marriage and family life.

We are very grateful for the generous help of members of the Minter Lane (TX) and Troy (MI) churches, as well as Nadya's Bible Break friends (a women's ministry at Troy). Materials for crafts were purchased with funds provided by Minter Lane and Troy, and we also received gifts for some of our personal expenses from Minter Lane and the Bible Break group. Crafts will be transported in suitcases and duffel bags temporarily donated by members at Troy.

Please pray for us! Some of the needs we want to lift up to God:

• Safe travel, particularly for Nadya, Evie and Jules when they return (Pat is coming back on Aug 12 because of work schedule)
• Preparation for the hearts of VBS teachers and the children who will attend
• Discernment to evaluate and address spiritual needs in the church
• Remembrance of the Ukrainian language (this one is from Pat!)
